Fostering Mental Health through these Current Times of COVID-19 - Part 2

What is Mental Health? It is important for us to learn how to foster mental health especially during these challenging times of the pandemic. COVID-19 and social distancing have created a big change in our daily lives causing greater stress to ourselves. Learn some coping strategies along with the importance of physical activity and social connection to help maintain healthy mental well-being. Our guest is Dr. Theodore Cosco, an Assistant Professor of Mental Health & Aging at Simon Fraser University and Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Dr. Cosco is a Chartered Psychologist trained in applied social research methods and epidemiology. Using both qualitative and quantitative approaches, Dr. Cosco examines a range of factors that promote healthy aging and resilience in older adults, from digital interventions to physical activity.
